Case Management
NHCO takes a holistic approach to helping those in need. When a
person comes to NHCO hungry and needs to use our food pantry, we
do not give him his groceries and send him on his way. Chances are
good that if he is hungry, he might also need employment help, financial
assistance and perhaps some emotional support.
That's where NHCO's Case Management program comes in. This program
aims to help individuals attain stability and economic self-sufficiency.
This is not a "quick fix" program - rather, it can take
a couple of years for people to truly become self-sufficient. NHCO's
service coordinators offer support, guidance and referrals to other
sources of help. To qualify, a person or family must be at or below
125% of the federal poverty level.
If you think you might qualify for this program and would like
more information, contact the NHCO office closest to you:
This service is funded in part by a grant provided by the PA Dept.
of Community and Economic Development.
