You’ve got goals. We can help you reach them.

Going back to school takes courage  and you’ve already taken the first step by exploring your options. Whether you’re working toward a degree, earning a certification, or training for a new career,  a North Hills Community Outreach’s Education Assistance Grant is here to help you move forward. This grant is designed for non-traditional adult students who want to build new skills, open doors to better job opportunities, and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.

If you live or study in northern Allegheny County (outside Pittsburgh), meet our income guidelines (household gross income at or below 200% of the poverty level for the past 30 days), and are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary undergraduate, trade, or certificate program, you may be eligible. Award amounts vary based on need and available funding.

The Spring 2026 (January 2026 program/class start date) application deadline is October 15, 2025. Don’t let cost hold you back and apply today.
